Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using Logspace software ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

2.1 Self-Hosted License

Upon payment of the license fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use the Software on your own infrastructure
  • Use the Software for commercial purposes within your organization

3. Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Redistribute the Self-Hosted version to third parties without authorization
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software without explicit written permission
  • Remove or modify any license key validation mechanisms
  • Offer the Software as a service to external customers (SaaS) without an enterprise agreement
  • Reverse engineer the Software for competitive purposes
  • Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. License Duration and Renewal

Self-Hosted licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase:

  • You may continue using your licensed version perpetually after the license expires
  • Renewal is required for product updates, new features, and technical support
  • Renewal pricing may differ from initial purchase price
  • 15-day grace period provided for renewals

5. Payment and Refunds

5.1 Payment

All fees are in USD and must be paid in full before license activation. Prices are subject to change with 15 days notice.

5.2 Refunds

We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the Software, contact us within 15 days of purchase for a full refund. After 15 days, all sales are final.

6. Support and Updates

With an active license, you receive:

  • Email support with response within 2 business days
  • Access to all software updates and security patches
  • Documentation and integration guides
  • Community Discord support

7. Data and Privacy

For self-hosted deployments:

  • All session data remains on your infrastructure
  • You are responsible for data protection and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • You control data retention, encryption, and access policies
  • We collect minimal anonymous telemetry (can be disabled)
  • You are responsible for obtaining end-user consent for session recording

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties of non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted

We make reasonable efforts to ensure Software quality but cannot guarantee it will meet all your requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGSPACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Logspace harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Software, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including privacy rights of end-users.

11. Termination

We may terminate your license if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Use the Software for illegal purposes
  • Engage in license key fraud or abuse
  • Fail to pay renewal fees (for continued support and updates)

Upon termination, you may continue using your current version but lose access to updates and support.

12. Intellectual Property

Logspace retains all rights, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property rights. Your license does not grant ownership, only a right to use under these Terms.

13. Compliance

You are responsible for:

  • Complying with all applicable laws regarding data collection and privacy
  • Obtaining proper consent from end-users for session recording
  • Implementing appropriate data protection measures
  • Complying with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations

14. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export, import, trade, and sanctions laws and regulations in the jurisdictions relevant to your use of the Software. You may not export, re-export, transfer, or make the Software available to any prohibited country, person, or entity under those laws.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Azerbaijan.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Logspace regarding the Software and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
